The overall quality and concept are good. Whether you have your menstrual cycle or just want to wear them for your fitness routine, these short would be good. The plain black color without any fancy designs or logos is great. These shorts are soft. The current selling price is a little high. See attached images.

In addition, the wide band at the top provides a measure of tummy flattening which is also an unexpected plus. As far as leak protection, I'm still unsure of the claims because I haven't experienced the issue, at least not yet. It's nice to know that if that occurs I can be prepared. The label says the inner layer is cotton and polyester so it remains to be seen how absorbent that could be but having some cotton does add a degree of reassurance. Overall, I'm pleased with the fit and comfort of the underwear. I'm really enjoying the breathable material of these underwear! Living in Georgia, the heat this time of year is intense, but I don't feel any discomfort wearing them. I also appreciate that they're boy shorts, so there's no tightness in the inner thigh creases. These are well made and do the job of protecting you from leaking. I was looking so forward to liking them but I really don't. I did get the recommended size but I feel that they are too hard to take down and pull on. They are more suited to someone who has no fat on their body. They kind of ride up my leg and dig in to my waist. I do like the way they feel on my skin and they wash and dry easily. I would get a size up for better comfort. For only 3 pair the price is a bit high. They may be worth it if you like them

I intended to use them strictly as a complementary product. When my flow is heavy and I am only using a pad, I find that I need my bottoms to be a little looser so the pad catches everything. When my bottoms are too tight, I leak in unexpected places right past the edge of the pad. Because these shorts have a tight fit, I experienced that same leaking when using them with just a pad. These are really nice underwear. I like the fabric, it is soft and very stretchy. The shorts style is nice and theoretically could be worn as shorts but realistically they would probably work better as a swimsuit bottom. I actually have been wearing them in the pool and really like them for that purpose. I was really impressed with these underwear!I purchased these with the intention to only wear during my period overnight as I am always afraid of leaking. I have had a lot of negative experiences with the underwear being much bigger than I anticipated, so they never really work right. These are absolutely not too big. If anything they run small. I am usually a 14/16 in pants and these are tight. Now, I don't mind, it's just for bed and having them be tight makes me feel better about leaking, but I could see this being an issue if you are wearing out.I decided to test these out to see how absorbant they are and to see how quickly they soak up the liquid. The average amount of blood (liquid) a woman has during her entire cycle is 30-40cc's. So I grabbed my little measuring medicine cup and tested out a full 30cc's at one time (well, a little over the course of a minute). These absorbed it so fast! I know that a woman does not expell all 30cc's at one time, so I didn't have high expectations. But as I started pouring they would absorb the liquid quickly. The fabric stayed feeling dry until I hit that 20cc amount. After 20cc's it did start to feel a little heavy and if you squeezed the area you could see liquid at the surface. but that's also having 20cc's of liquid! Typically a woman releases 15cc's a day, so these could (in theory) be worn all day without issues... Now, I will say this (and we're getting graphic here) I don't know how well it would actually absorb blood. Typically period blood comes with bodily tissues and I don't think these would absorb it. They seem great for liquid but I cant see that anything other than that would really be absorbed. The fabric just doesn't seem like it would.Overall, I'd say great for light periods or for that 'extra coverages' (I use tampons and like these as a backup overnight). I also think they would work great for someone with light bladder leaking. Anything more than 20cc's and you're going to feel it.
