super cute! perfect for my daughter who doesn't love wearing a tampon while swimming. fits well, I haven't been able to test the color as of yet so fading isn't a worry. She likes it so I am guessing the fit is comfortable and it has held up to the durability test with a teenager. it covers her whole body which I LOVE and the color still looks good.Pros: has a period liner in it so she doesn't have to wear a tampon while swimming.Cons: none so far

This is a great option if you still want to go swimming when it's that time of the month. Some people don't like to use tampons, and if not, you usually have to opt out of pool time. This is a perfect alternative I never knew existed. It's made for teen girls, so adult women need to really look at the sizes. It has 4 layers, which prevent leaking. It has UPF 50+ and is 98% effective in blocking UV rays. It dries quickly, is lightweight, and comfortable for all-day wear. Overall I am impressed, and while this wouldn't be my go-to swimsuit everytime because it is basic, it works for when needed. I'd rate it a 9 out of 10.

First of all I did order one size larger and it fit fine. It basically looks like a speedo type professional swimmer swimsuit. The straps are adjustable which on the one hand is a good thing. But on the other hand the straps are fabric and look like old lady bra straps. It is more comfortable to have the adjustment, but I don't prefer the appearance of the straps.As you can see in my photo there is an extra pad sewn into the crotch. And it is a minimal thickness. There's no extra elastic or anything around the crotch that would make this safer than any other swimsuit. So you're really just counting on that thin absorbent pad. At least this gives the appearance of a regular swimsuit and it works for swimming on light days.The quality of the swimsuit is good. It is well stitched and it does look like a normal swimsuit. I would only use this as a backup. I don't think I would trust it fully on its own.I think it's a good value to have in case of emergency especially for a young girl.

I am not an old lady in any sense of the word, but if you had your period when I was a kid, that meant sitting out the water-based fun if you happened to be on your cycle. When I got older, I could wear tampons, but not every woman is able to or wants to.Period swimwear is an option for those women, but it has its limitations. I don't think that it should be worn on your very heavy days (each manufacturer will provide maximum absorbency), and I am not comfortable wearing these after I am out of the water. I like to take them off right away, rinse and hang up to dry. I don't trust anything to be 100% leakproof if I am sitting down, and I also worry about people possibly smelling the menses. (I have not had any issues to date, just saying.)As far as the swimsuit, these period bathing suits tend to run small, so keep that in mind. This is the second bathing suit that I have tried from this brand, and I am glad that I got a medium the second time around. It fit me better than a small would have.The color is gorgeous and looks just like it does in the listing. The bathing suit provides adequate coverage from top to bottom and is comfortable to wear.Overall, this is a solid option if you want to try out a period bathing suit as it's more affordable than other brands.
